I love this t shirt pattern. Very professional results in very little time.  Create a different look by mixing your fabrics.   The body of this T is a cotton lycra jersey with a good amount of stretch.  The sleeves are less stretchy and a thinner weight.

Pajama Day!

So many cute options for this Pajama Day...which one should I wear?  All custom made by my Mom that is. The gowns are made from the Portabello Pixie Peasant Dress pattern in flannel from Joann's with Jelly Bean font name embroidered on the front.  Chez Ami knit for the top and pants in a leggings pattern from New Look 6639 with ruffles on the leg.  By using a rolled hem on the serger and elastic thread in the bobbin, the hems and gathering on the neck and sleeve edge are a cinch.

Corduroy Jumper

Such a surprise turnout with this older pattern I had stashed away (Simplicity 4441).   The fit is tailored more than the pattern envelope leads you to believe.  Easy to embelish since it's not lined.  Only if my 4 yr old Jane could wear a shirt underneath instead of on top of...I guess she's just a skirt girl!
